Alfred Avery grew up in Reese, MI, not far from Frankenmuth, and has lived in Clarkston for many years. After working at Auto-Owners Insurance Company as a claims adjuster for five years, he attended the Michigan State University College of Law, passing the bar exam in 1999.
Al joined Ogne, Alberts & Stuart in 1999, and focuses on personal injury (defense and plaintiff) and subrogation work. He also has experience in estate planning and administration, divorce and family law.
Al is married and has two daughters. He has been a member of the Clarkston Rotary Club for three years, and is the incoming President. He is also the Co-Chair of the 70th Annual Labor Day Parade in Clarkston. In addition to volunteering, he enjoys traveling, especially to Napa and Sonoma, California.
